Presentation at the January Xena Convention

We're less than 1 week away from the convention and getting everything together for the presentation. Among the topics we will be discussing will be:

1. A brief history of Xena prop and costume collecting (or, how did these items get into the hands of fans?)
2. Display and conservation
3. Authentication of items
4. Fakes and forgeries
5. Advice for new collectors

BTW, the weather is going to turn colder as we get closer to the convention. Currently, the lows in the evening are projected to drop into the 30s over the weekend. And while this does happen in Southern California, it's a little rare, and we take it with very little grace (we complain a lot). Bring a warm jacket if you're not acclimated to colder temperatures (those XWP black athletic jackets Creation used to sell, with the wool bodies and leather sleeves, are PERFECT).
