Here is Glenn Zucman's companion painting to the one shown below, also in acrylics. This one he titled, "Gabrielle!". In the same magna-dott portrature style, Glenn used the linear geometry of Gabrielle's staff as the overlay (compare this with the circular chakram-inspired overlay in Xena! below). Hung together on the same wall, these two paintings make a terrific visual impact.
I was surprised when my parents told me how much they liked these paintings because I didn't think they would be of a style my folks would enjoy. Happily, I was wrong. Plus, it helps that my father is also a Xena fan.
