This is not one of those "I'm in the closet" posts (I've been out for nearly 30 years). I have a large and too-stuffed closet in a spare bedroom that is FULL of Xena Stuff and Xena Crap (merchandise). I'm trying to get stuff sorted out so I can reclaim some room, so expect a big upload to my Ebay store as well as some auctions..... very, very soon.
When I moved to this larger house, all of my Xena collection (except for the original stuff) got put into moving boxes and "temporarily" stored in this large walk-in closet. So, as I'm going through stuff, I'm coming across really early fan-made stuff, like white T-shirts that have a chakram on the front and on the back is silk-screened "I have many skills!". Stuff from the first Xena convention, and Holy Crap! early emails from 1996-1997 plus a good collection of NetForum posts -- not electronically stored, BTW, but printed out. On paper. Like in the olden days.
I need to figure out what to do with all this early fan stuff. Posting some of it makes sense unless you email me and tell me it's best use is as a somnorific. Maybe no one is interested in early fan stuff, except maybe the original fans themselves. If anything, you can all look at the photos from over 10 years ago and have the same reaction I did, "look how thin I was!" or "hey, no grey hair!" etc... Clearly, this is edifying. Or, maybe not.

We should scrapbook it. Not in a bows and funny scissor cut way (I can't remember what those funny scissors are called).
Anyway, I digress. It would be neat to sort the gems into a notebook that can be trotted out each July and marveled at.
Hell, I'll even help. As a Survivor of an earlier Great Closet Clean-out, I'm qualified. :)
Hey, that's a great idea. And have Tedra (www.fineblankbooks.com) make a custom scrap book with a Xena-themed design on the cover(s). Kewl!
Holy cow.
Those books are beautiful. Like rendering me speechless beautiful.
I think we may be onto something.
I've bought 3 books from Tedra. I have one of the "plain" copies of the Xena Prop House Newsletter compilation, but I have 2 of the custom designs. A Xena Journal (natch) which you can see here -- http://www.fineblankbooks.com/

She can do just about anything I believe -- all we have to do is try to describe what we want.
